I warrant this one as a one time watch, but I might change my mind over time. It was entertaining and devoted to it’s characters. Eisenberg and Stewart have a chemistry that most try to capture, but few can contain. This was probably my favorite element. Their backstory played out with so much passion and hope, I could not help but cheer for them. The mush factor might have been a bit much though. Also, I know, people have a problem with Stewart’s acting, but I think she does this one justice. I might be a little bias though, as I do enjoy KStew.

As a whole, I think this could have achieved more greatness had it contained more comedy. There where so many places for great/terrible one-liners, but to no avail. If it played out more like Pineapple Express, it might have appealed more. I don’t think the mainstream are totally ready to take stoners seriously without laughter. This one had some chuckles, but not on a scale that would have been more comfortable for viewers. It really wanted to be taken seriously as a thrilling quirky action, which on certain levels was achieved, but still felt strangely empty. This one is for the stoners and action seekers, but don’t get your hopes too high…
