The Big Short
With a cast list this beautiful it’s not hard to see why this is going to be a winner. The story is taken off of the start of the recessive 2000’s, when the housing market crashed. I probably wouldn’t want to indulge, except Carell makes me dance and it speaks to my rebellious nature against capitalist greed.
Sisters
Poehler and Fey usually have a good handle on rocking it out. It’s a story of sisters reunited by their childhood homestead. It might be a really stupid kind of funny that afterwards are little embarrassed to admit that we viewed, but I think we need that sometimes in this crazy crazy world.
