Enjoy Christopher Nolan and Fact-Based Stories? DUNKIRK is your watch!
From the director of the Dark Knight series, Nolan takes us to WWII for the evacuation of allied troops from Dunkirk away from Nazi forces. A remarkable cast that includes Kenneth Branaugh and Tom Hardy shine as audiences and critics alike state that it honors the real life story and it’s intense. I’m not into war movies, but this one I’d suggest for those that are.
Looking for more visual sci-fi? VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS might do the trick!
It’s a new adventure from Luc Besson, the director of The Fifth Element, based on an inspiring comic series. It’s story is set in the future where a team of special Ops are directed to keep order throughout the human territories embarking on an adventure bigger than they planned for. Big critics didn’t cut it much slack say that it relies too heavily on special effects and falls short of being a whole experience. The average audience didn’t think it was so bad.
Girl’s night digs? Check out GIRLS TRIP!
This is a romp made out just for fun times with the girls. Staring Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith going on a trip to New Orleans with their girlfriends ends up bringing them closer together. Audiences and critics alike agree that it goes over the line as a rated R comedy, but doesn’t lose it’s laughs. My love for Queen Latifah might make me have to sneak a peek.
