Need some family-friendly magic? Go see THE HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN IT’S WALLS.
That’s a mouthful, and from the trailer I honestly thought this looked a little goofy. It’s a story of a boy who goes to live with his uncle and finds out there is mystery and magic all around him. Jack Black and Cate Blanchett are the major stars with Gore phenomenon Eli Roth at the directing helm. Critics and audiences alike are so far happy with it stating it is a fun blend of humor and kid-sized horror. Might just go see this…
Michael Moore fan or NOT a fan of our current POTUS? FAHRENHEIT 11/9 might be for you.
Michael Moore puts his boxing gloves on again for another provacative and sometimes humorous look into the Trump presidency. His works are among the best in the documentary/Op-Ed world. Critics call it very effective and worthy of his other works. Audiences though are very split, not a big surprise as our country is split and people just generally are tired of partaisan political fighting. I’m in for this one, as I love his work and am frankly not a fan of our pres.
How about a old timey Western? THE SISTERS BROTHERS might be what you are looking for.
It’s a tale of manhood in the western world of 1851. Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly play dangerous brothers on a journey of rediscovery that tests their family bond. Critics give it a fresh score for it’s satisfactory delivery and impecable acting chops. This might be one I’d go see.
